We are an organization of single people who love to play golf and meet other single people at the same time.  You do not need to be an expert golfer to join our group. However, we do ask that you have a basic understanding of the game and of golf etiquette. 

·       We have been a singles golf organization since 1999 and currently have about 50 members.

·       Except for December and January, we typically have two golf outings (play days) each month.

·       We play on courses all around the Houston area. 

·       Several times a year we take out-of-town trips for a golf weekend.  Recent trips have been to courses in San Antonio, Austin, Coushatta, and Bastrop. 

·       Play days and weekend trips are organized by our members who coordinate these events with our golf Chairperson.  We encourage everyone to help.

·       We have socials several times a year.  These include happy hours, dancing, horse races, game nights, theater, sports events, and our annual Super Bowl party.

·       Dues are $50.00 per year, which are used to pay for prizes at golf events and to subsidize special events.  SHAG is a non-profit organization.
